Creating local skilled jobs

Supporting local employment, developing apprentices and investing in our people has important to us from the early days. As we’ve grown, we’re still committed to creating opportunities for local people and help to strengthen the regional economy.

We’re passionate about encouraging the next generation to consider careers in engineering. John has supported careers initiatives throughout his career including working with schools and skills providers to build links between education and industry.

Supporting local communities

We are proud supporters of The Teesside Charity helping to raise funds that directly benefit good causes across the Tees Valley. Both John and Heather regularly take part in fundraising activities that have contributed to the charity fund.

Championing local talent

It is always a pleasure to supporting individuals and grassroots sports in the region. We have sponsored local sports clubs and backed talented young athletes as they compete on the national and international stage.
